Someone sent me an article about a boy who wore a shirt to school saying there are only two genders. The article went on to report that his shirt was considered hate speech. I was asked for my opinion.

First, I am not sure my opinion matters, it will not change anything, it is the opinion of one. Secondly, it seems the question should be posed differently. Do we need more than two genders?

Biology is binary. Male and Female. I guess that is called sex these days. Once you are biologically one or the other, your physical body produces chemicals and grows in a specific way. Gender has now taken on a meaning different than in the past. Gender and biological sex were harmonious historically. Although according to some “many” cultures recognized other genders. Many in this response was really 4, all minor cultures. But I digress.

Gender now has a new meaning that is not tied to biology but is tied to feeling. I feel like I am something else, than I am that which I am led to be by my feelings. If gender is now feeling based, than yes you can have many genders. It isn’t that you have created anything, you have redefined a word. A man who feels more comfortable dressing as a woman…that is a definition of a new gender term. Or a woman who feels like she should be more masculine, again a new gender term..

To achieve the reality of making your body reflect your feelings requires a mental makeover, drugs and surgery. Any of those or combinations. As always, humans cannot create, we can only modify. We can attempt to change something that was created by someone more powerful. We can not create something new.

We also inwardly know, and it is reflected in our use of words, that terms make our action feel less unnatural. If I were to say I enjoy sex with animals, with dead people, with boys, with men, or any other description which starts with ” I enjoy sex with” we become uncomfortable and feel shame. Some by repetition seek to grow accustomed to saying those things, but really only feel comfortable in the company of those who share there predilection.it is easier to speak using terms that are not negatively received. I am gay is easier to say than I have sex with my own biological mate.

Are we speaking of nature? No. Nature is procreative. The theory of evolution would conclude that homosexuality would die out after one generation as they are a non creative union. And there is no difference between man and woman whatever gender they assign themselves. In fact the only reason that you want to change your gender is that you believe God made you wrong.

God made a mistake. And you have realized this and are seeking to fix that mistake. In the end, that us the claim. We then need to categorize God’s mistakes. The man made genders are those categories. The only entity I know who agrees with the idea of God making mistakes, would be Satan.

So do we need more genders? Satan thinks we do. So do people who believe God makes mistakes. Me personally, I will stick with two, and regard the others as feelings or cries for help.
